About the album
Loop 420 is a 2026 conceptual album by Pouya Shahri built around the idea of recurrence: forms returning, changing, and folding back into themselves. Its creative identity draws on the logic of loops and fractal structures, where repetition does not simply recreate what came before, but reveals variation through each return. Rather than treating the release as a collection of disconnected pieces, Loop 420 is conceived as a continuous conceptual environment. Repetition, transformation, scale, and cyclical movement become part of the album’s wider artistic language, reinforced by a dark cosmic-fractal visual identity. The project extends Pouya Shahri’s concept-first approach to music, in which an underlying idea establishes the structure and identity of the work before genre becomes the defining element. Loop 420 connects sound, visual design, and systems thinking through a single recurring premise: a loop can return to the same point without ever producing exactly the same experience.
